Alpha Protocol More Than Likely Delayed into 2010

We were pretty thrilled by what we saw of Obsidian’s spy RPG Alpha Protocol at E3, so obviously, we’re not-so-thrilled to hear that the game might be facing a rather large delay. Originally scheduled to launch this month, Alpha Protocol’s now listed as infiltrating consoles and PCs in June 2010, according to both GameStop and Amazon.ca.

Halo 3 ODST Sells 2 Million Units In First 24 Hours

As reported earlier in the week, final Halo 3: ODST preorders stood at around 1.35m in the Americas – lower than Halo 3′s 1.95m but still impressive. Preliminary data is now in, and we can exclusively reveal that day 1 sales in the Americas were just over 1.5 million, with a further 500,000 sold in Europe and other regions. Total Halo 3: ODST sales stand at around 2 million worldwide (vs nearly 3 million for Halo 3′s first day back in 2007) – generating over $160m in total revenue. Bungie leaderboards show over 950,000 users have already signed up with ODST…

Left 4 Dead 2 Demo and L4D “Crash Course” DLC Dated

First up, Left 4 Dead’s “Crash Course” DLC will finally walk among the livingon September 29. It’s free, of course, and includes a new campaign, new survival maps, and a few other tweaks and balances. Then, just in time to catch you on the rebound after you’ve kicked Crash Course to the curb, Valve’s dropping a Left 4 Dead 2 demo on October 27.
