Earlier in the week, the Apple Store was offering the Mac OS X Snow Leopard upgrade for just $29. If you thought that was a good deal, wait until you hear these.

Apple has reduced the price of the Snow Leopard upgrade even more, to $9.95. If you’ve purchased a qualifying computer or Xserve on or after June 8, 2009 from the Apple Store or an Apple authorized reseller, you can take advantage of this upgrade offer from now through December 26, 2009.

If you’ve owned your Mac prior to the June 8, 2009 cutoff, then just head over to Amazon; the online retailer is selling Mac OS X version 10.6 Snow Leopard for $25, 14 percent off the list price of $29.
